前提①　語用論が扱うべき対象は、命題的な行為の内で、意味論や構造論で対処できない部分。

前提②　言語行為のnatureは、言語共同体内部での相互理解であり、共同体内部でのディスコミュニケーションは、周縁的、二次的、病的な事象に過ぎない。

    主張型（assertive）         ：主張を含む

    行為拘束型（commisive）　：意図伝達を含む

Scaler implicature 「梯級隱涵」

Griceのquantity maximから発展した

① Be listed from the highest to the lowest value.

② When any form in a scale is asserted,

《Grice》

Implicature 　「隱涵」=言外之意

        A hamburger is a hamburger.

    ただのtautologies(同語反覆）ではなく、

    It is an additional conveyed meaningといったimplicatureである。

【politeness理論】

言葉扱いの丁寧さの理論である。

四つの側面：

① positive face：　他者に理解されたい、仲間とみなしてほしい
